Let’s be honest — the system we’re living under isn’t broken. It’s working exactly how it was designed to. A global economy built on endless growth is running full-speed into a planet with limits. The result? Collapse. Of climate, of trust, of opportunity. And while billionaires rocket off to the edge of space, working people are left behind in burning cities, flooded towns, and food lines.
This crisis isn’t random — it’s the final stage of a system that’s extracted everything it can. Neoliberal capitalism has drained the Global South, gutted workers’ rights, and locked everyday people into cycles of poverty, all while hiding behind police shields, endless war, and media spin. What they call “representative democracy” is little more than a permission slip handed out by a corporate-approved club of insiders. If you’re not on their list, you don’t get in.
The Green Party isn’t here to make that system nicer. We’re here to change it. Root and stem.
We stand proudly as anti-capitalist, anti-racist, feminist, and grounded in our Ten Key Values — including gender diversity, ecological wisdom, and the belief that real democracy starts from the ground up.
This isn’t just a platform. It’s a call to rebuild the world from the local level out — decentralized, confederated, and community-driven. We’re not just fighting for representation. We’re demanding self-government, direct democracy, and an economy planned by people — not profit margins.
We believe in using tech and automation not to cut jobs or boost profits, but to free people — to give every human the time, resources, and support to raise families, build communities, and live meaningful lives. Not survive — thrive.
This platform — especially the economic and climate planks we call our Green New Deal — isn’t a fantasy. It’s a blueprint for how we get from where we are to where we need to be. It includes:
Ending poverty through human rights like housing, food, and healthcare
Slamming the brakes on carbon emissions through a just transition to renewables
Bringing power back to communities through public banking and worker-owned enterprises
Restoring democracy by unrigging elections, overhauling our courts, and ending corporate rule
We know this won’t happen overnight. We know we’re up against powerful systems built to protect power itself. But we also know something else: the people are waking up.
- This isn’t just a fight against class oppression — it’s a fight against all hierarchy: racism, sexism, ableism, imperialism, colonialism. And we’ll need every tool we’ve got: grassroots organizing, mutual aid, electoral campaigns, direct action, ballot initiatives, and building new systems right in the bones of the old ones.
Because this isn’t just about resistance. It’s about creation. About vision. About liberation.
We believe a better world is possible. More than that — we believe it’s necessary.
It’s time to move beyond survival. Beyond small tweaks. Beyond fear.
Together, we can win a future that’s green, just, and free.
