The System’s Rigged – But We Can Fix It

The System’s Rigged – But We Can Fix It

I travel this country, and I see the same thing over and over:

  • Families working two or three jobs just to keep the lights on.
  • Small towns with boarded-up storefronts while billionaires get tax breaks.
  • Communities choking on pollution because some corporation wanted a bigger profit margin.

And both major parties? They’ve been in on it for decades.
They argue on TV, fundraise off our pain, and then cash the same corporate checks.

It doesn’t matter if you call yourself Democrat, Republican, Independent, or fed-up non-voter—you can feel it.

This system is not built for us.

That Feeling You Have? That’s Populism.

Populism is just a fancy word for something simple:

The people are tired of being ignored by the elites, and we’re ready to take our power back.

It’s the farmer in Iowa watching his land get poisoned by a corporation he can’t fight.
It’s the single mom in Detroit who works full-time and still can’t afford rent.
It’s the veteran who served this country and comes home to a town falling apart.

And here’s the thing: this isn’t a left or right problem.

  • The right feels it when D.C. sells out to lobbyists and leaves rural America behind.
  • The left feels it when Wall Street gets bailouts and families get eviction notices.
  • And everyone feels it when billionaires get richer while we struggle to survive.

Populism Is the Fire. The Green Budget Is the Map.

Anger is powerful—but anger alone won’t fix the roads, clean the air, or make sure our kids get healthcare.

That’s why I built the Green Budget Framework.
This isn’t another stack of policy papers that collects dust in Washington.

The Green Budget Framework: A Plan That Puts People First

The Green Budget Framework is more than just a list of policies—

It’s a plan to take back control of our country from the people who broke it.

For decades, our national budget has been built to serve the powerful, not the people.

  • Trillions for wars and corporate bailouts.
  • Pennies for schools, housing, healthcare, and community growth.
  • Tax breaks for billionaires while working families scrape by.

And every year, the cycle repeats. The rich get richer, our communities fall apart, and we’re told to be patient while politicians give speeches instead of solutions.

The Green Budget Framework flips that script.
It says: If we have the money for bombs and billionaires, we have the money to take care of our people and rebuild our communities.

Each of its 10 Acts attacks a different part of the rigged system:

  • From Wall Street speculation to Main Street investment.
  • From endless war spending to rebuilding neighborhoods and infrastructure.
  • From corporate pollution to clean energy and local green jobs.
  • From healthcare and housing as privileges to making them rights.

This framework is designed to unite people across parties and backgrounds because fairness isn’t partisan—it’s human.

  • If you’re sick of waste, this plan cuts it.
  • If you’re tired of being ignored, this plan invests in you.
  • If you’ve given up on politics, this plan gives you a reason to hope again.

The Green Budget Framework is the roadmap for a future where government finally works for the people who built this country—not the elites who bought it.

And over the next 10 posts, I’ll break down each Act—how it works, who it helps, and how together we take America back.

This Series: How We Take America Back

Over the next 10 posts, I’m breaking down each Act of the Green Budget Framework:

  • The real problem the elites created.
  • The people-first solution.
  • And how it helps all of us, no matter what party you belong to.

This isn’t about political games. It’s about building a future we can actually be proud of.

If you’ve ever felt like politicians stopped listening to people like you, stick with me—this series is for you.

I’m traveling coast to coast, meeting Greens, supporting down-ballot candidates, and connecting with you directly where you are. Unlike career politicians, I fund my journey by working gigs like DoorDash and Instacart—time that could be spent building real change.
